Frequently Asked Questions
We’re here to make the process simple and stress-free — explore our FAQs for quick answers and helpful details.
Preservation
How soon should I send my bouquet or flowers after my event?
The sooner the better. Keep your flowers in water as much as possible, in a cool place (like the fridge), and handle them as little as possible. Do not place them in the freezer.
Can I reserve a date in advance?
Yes. You may place a $250 deposit to reserve your date during peak seasons. You’ll receive a credit to apply your deposit toward your final order once flowers are shipped or dropped off. Deposits are optional but guarantee a spot on our schedule.
Will my flowers look exactly the same once preserved?
Preserved flowers may look slightly different from your fresh bouquet. This is a natural part of the preservation process. We use the best professional techniques to achieve beautiful results and will contact you if there are any concerns when your flowers arrive.
What if my bouquet is damaged or browned?
Minor bruising or browning is common during shipping and can usually be preserved beautifully. For heavily browned or wilted bouquets, we may recommend:
1. Sending a replica bouquet through your florist
2. Having us recreate your bouquet from a photo (flower cost applies)
3. Proceeding with your original bouquet, with the understanding that color correction may be needed
Which flowers preserve best?
Bright blooms preserve best. White flowers can yellow over time, but we offer color correction services to help maintain their appearance.
Do you freeze dry?
At Blessed and Pressed, your flowers receive the highest level of care with our state-of-the-art freeze dryer- one of only a few in the entire state of Florida. This advanced technology preserves blooms with exceptional color, shape and detail.
Will my flowers fade over time?
- Resin pieces: The blooms will not fade, though resin may naturally yellow slightly over time.
- Pressed flowers: Pressed pieces are treated with UV protection and placed under UV glass. While fading or yellowing is uncommon, it may still occur over time.
